Science Department
I currently teach Advanced Placement Biology. The A-G requirements, letter D, require 2 years of laboratory science. One science class must be in the biological sciences and one class must be in the physical sciences to complete the letter D, A-G requirement, for all college bound students. General Biology is the introductory laboratory life science course taken by all freshmen. Advanced Placement Biology is a college level course geared toward highly motivated students who have successfully completed both General Biology and Chemistry. Students may receive college credit for completing Advanced Placement Biology and scoring at least a 3 on the AP Biology exam given in May of each year.
